King Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Speaking of this, my wife and I are about to have our 3rd child....still working on names. He'll be our 3rd boy (other two are Maddux and Perry). On the list is: - Emery - Miles - Archer - Beckett Last name starts with a B so we're leary on Beckett (double I tossed around the idea of Gehrig as Id love a baseball reference. Thoughts? Which do you like and/or any other suggestions? Thanks guys Pelfrey Brown
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 This forum needs a dislike button. Please bring it up in your next mod meeting. Not a good idea. It would discourage new people who may be here to actually learn. The ignore button serves just fine for this.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Well, if your last name is Brown, Beckett Brown is a f***ing awesome name. Last name is Brownridge.....Is that still awesome? Seems like it gets too long eh? Edited December 4, 2015 by Brownie19
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm between 200-210 lbs. I get jeans from The Bay or Bootlegger. Silver, Mavi or Buffalo all fit me well. Fitted waist and thigh...loose leg...no skinny jeans at all. I actually just got a pair of Buffalo jeans that are a stretchy material....wicked jeans I think my problem is that I'm not investing enough. Current pair of jeans is from Old Navy, previous was Kirkland (the Costco brand) and before that, Joe Fresh.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 It's not quite as awesome. I'd go with Oil Can. It Beckett Brownridge gets a little long eh?

The Buffalo jeans were 70% off at the bay like a week ago....we should have discussed this earlier.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Miles is alright Just alright? I think Miles is at the top of my list

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Gentry, Beau, Casey The mighty Casey is actually a pretty sweet baseball reference. Nuk, Crash...
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 There's no The Bay here anyways. Online shopping man...although jeans are hard to buy online, I'll give you that
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Yes, I agree it doesn't have a nice rhythm to it. In your list, Miles and Emery work the best with Brownridge, in my opinion. So those are the 2 were down to...wife prefers one, I prefer the other. I still think Gehrig would be pimp. The Iron Horse is prolly the best nickname you could give a kid
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm definitely on team Miles.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Do most see emery as a girls name? Wow I've hikacked this thread...Yahoo Ross Atkins. I hope I don't get banned but I love public opinion
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'm definitely on team Miles. whenever i hear the name Miles, I think of Fraiser Cranes' twerpy dweby little brother.....even though his name was Niles
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Can we stay on topic... So back to jeans?

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Can we stay on topic... Is Trouba going to break out now? 3 points against 2 s***** teams doesn't mean much. Waiting...
Cookie Verified Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Team Archer. Miles was on our short list though. We went with River. Also boot cut jeans are back in style this season.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Appreciate the feedback guys...it's going to be pretty crazy with my own little baseball team in the house..
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 If you're not in any rush for jeans, and you have a good fitting pair of jeans/chinos/pants and are cool with crowd funding and want hand made raw denim at affordable prices then https://www.weargustin.com/ is the place to buy jeans. They'll even tell you how to measure. I checked that site out and they have some pretty awesome stuff. Have you ever bought anything from it?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Can't believe we've gone this long into a jeans/denim talk without Denimtista.

SAAviour Verified Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Kevin Brown...idge? Jays hire a GM and we're talking jeans, how hot he is and boys names? Wtf. You know the GM is not a real position anymore when this message board has a 'Jays hire new GM" topic that can't make it 5 pages.
