An unusually high 27 guys were listed this year, probably due to the weaker system. Eight players were unanimous and another 6 were on 2/3 of ballots, but the rest is a free for all.

As Grant noted, there are 27 players that ended up being on the list. The Blue Jays Baseball America list comes out this Friday. If he releases list today, we can discuss all week, and than see what the "experts" said and how it compared.

If we posted one a day...than that would take 27 days to finish. By all accounts my math tells me that it is not 27 days until this Friday.

 

Come on Thomas I voted you ROY based on being an up and comer learning the ins and outs of Sabermetrics. Your math skills have given me pause and concern.

 

I'm not opposed to say releasing the 12 from 15-27 today, than doing one a day from 14 down to 1. That way we could have a day to discuss each of the top prospects for a day. Or even release two or three a day, so its out by Friday.

Could do 1 through 10 tonight, 11 through 20 tomorrow and 21 through 27 on Wednesday. That leaves two days of discussion for the big picture list (including Friday) and a day of more focused discussion on each block. I don't really have a preference either way, I'm new here and just along for the ride

My bad, I didn't interpret his post as saying one prospect a day. Just one every couple hours or something. Regardless, above I posted something similar to you.

We're the experts of our own farm system. BA should be reading this forum and figuring out if they got it right.
