Not sure how that's possible as soon as you hit the ground friction takes over and slows the momentum of the runner. Unless you dive into the air and touch the bag with your hand as you descend on to the ground.

No, KingKat is right. There's some evidence to suggest a well-timed headfirst slide is faster.

I don't think it's that big a deal if he was sincere. If he wasn't then yeah, totally s***** thing. We probably won't know the real story until they are not teammates anymore.

Serioulsy, but the Royals have had some serious BABIP luck so far this series and especially in this game so far.

 

Stroman needs to use the four seamer up on 0-2 and 1-2 counts more often.

Id like to see him throw a few more cutters if the change isn't working. Give them a different look and different velocity
