We're a good team. We can still win this series. David Price doesn't suck. Neither does Ryan Goins. Neither does this team.

A day off will do us some good. We'll win on Monday.

Well, at least we have the comfort of knowing that we've already come back from this kind of deficit once. Once we get past Cueto we have Chris Young who is easily their weakest link in the rotation. I like our chances. Our crowd will make sure to have Cueto feel uncomfortable like how he felt it in Pittsburgh a few years ago, beat him to submission and we'll be right back into it.

2-0 down and the next game is more or less a must win but not really situation... we've personally seen 2-0 lead by a team in ALCS made up in the next two games; in 1993 it was us who had the 2-0 series lead (AWAY at Chicago at that) but then proceeded to lose the next two. We ended up winning that one anyway but the point is that we can definitely get it back to level in the next two games. Believe, folks. Don't forget our ALDS turnaround.

KC is a much better team than Texas.

We are down 2-0 and we haven't even faced their best starter: Cueto. I know he was pitching poorly in September but his last start was great and his track record is there. KC has a great bullpen. They also have a ballpark well suited to their team - big and spacious. It's difficult to hit HR's there. Jays main strength is the HR but KC is one of the best teams in fewest HR's allowed.

We are probably done.

Since we are "probably" done does that mean you can f*** off?

KC is not a much better team than Texas. Texas was the 2nd best team in baseball in the second half after us. KC had a worse second half, although they turned it around at the end of the season.

We already know we can win a few games in a row. f*** we just did it this week! Lets just calm the f*** down, win Monday, then win Tuesday and we're all square.

In a way this is an interesting reality check after all the highs of that reverse-sweep of the Rangers in the ALDS, especially after that emotionally charged win in game 5. It was never going to get any easier the rest of the way and now we're back into that situation that we were in before. But thus far our team has shown to respond well to these types of adversities and we just have to believe in them to be able to do it once more.

Where have you seen that Young is going to start Game 4? I thought I saw the probables before game 1 and don't remember seeing his name, although I can't remember for the life of me who it was? Medlin, maybe, although that doesn't seem right.

It honestly is going to come down to homers. Royals gave up 0 at the K. Not sure how many of the Jays hits in the first two games would have been homers. Maybe the one that Orlando caught to end Game 1?

KC won 7 more games than Texas, that's significant overall.

One of the main reasons for Texas' big second half was that Adrian Beltre hit like a Monster, but due to injury he only got 9 ab's in the ALDS.

Texas had 2 starting pitcher's that were barely MLB worthy and left handed - with Holland and Perez, Basically 2 gift wins for the Jays. In the last game, the Rangers did the near impossible by committing 3 errors in the same inning. KC will NOT do that.

Yes, KC is way better.

I think KC is a fair bit more dangerous than Texas. Deeper offense (especially considering Beltre missed two games), possibly the best team defense in baseball, and they won't be rolling out left-handed pitching for 80% of the games. They also have home field advantage and a team perfectly suited to Kaufman stadium. Texas was not a good team at all. KC is.

It's all part of the master plan for maximum dramatics guys. Give them a 3-0 series lead so that it seems that all hope is lost, then we start to play for real and claw our way back and take it all 4-3.

I agree. KC doesn't make many errors and they are great at capitalizing on other teams errors. Many people hate the small ball mentality of this team but they do what works for them. Also I don't understand why people insist on calling those clutch hits lucky hits they've been doing it all year. Late game rallies has kind of been the identity of this team. Gonna be a good series.

The Royals are a great team, but the next 3 are at home in the bandbox and this team can unload. Cueto is a great pitcher but he can be beat and we have Stro on the mound against him, Young is garbage, and if we win the first 2 of 3 at home that give us a lot of momentum going into game 5. This series is far from over, but it's clear that the Royals are a great team and the fellas need to respect that and play to their strengths. Have faith fellas.

She looks so different without a dick in her mouth. Probably the first time I saw her with clothes on.

Ya, I was numb and felt kind of nacreous after that loss yesterday. I went to Calgary Flames - Oilers game and after the intensity of the last 2 months it was a boring joke.

But this is a strong team we have and if anyone can pull off 4 out of 5 it can. For some reason momentum seems to be a thing in playoff baseball. Astros had these guys on their backs too and they took the series. We did the same to Tex. Gm 3 goes our way!

Since the League Championship Series switched to a best-of-seven format in 1985, there have been 25 teams who lost the first two games....only 3 of those teams have ever come back to win the series.

I'm actually surprised it's that low, makes me feel a team is due to do it and if anyone can its this Jays team. Beat Cueto, then destroy chris young and were good to go.

Gogo is a piece of work. Instead of regretfully reflecting in his condo the night afterwards, he had a party. I laugh out loud when all the announcers claim 'Goins respectfully owned up to his mistake' - They have NO idea who he is... He had TWELVE strippers over the night before a Texas playoff game. This I know. If I wasn't such a Blue Jays fan I wouldn't care, but I do. Goins could be great... but he chooses to be good. Not a surprise for a young player, just a surprise the announcers are so oblivious. Instead of defending and throwing every single Jay on a pedestal maybe they need to actually critique the players... Try it. The fans will actually appreciate it instead of 'oh he's so great.. oh he's so great... oh he's just so great...' COME ON.

Only 12? That's excessively responsible if you ask me. Class act.

lol this is the norm for athletes... Players in every sport do the same thing. Derek Jeter would be giving away gift baskets to hookups the mornings of playoff games.

I like how you have 4 posts and are crying about what athletes do and think you know how they have to act to be successful. If a guy gets his mind off baseball by having strippers over, so be it. If its worked for him in the past let him do what he wants to do.

I woke up with a very odd sense of calm. Not devastation, just an odd feeling of comfort. Wishful thinking? Perhaps. But I feel like Saturday night we're going to be watching a ball game.

I think they'll win today too. Volquez had his A stuff in game 1, doubt that will happen again. We should know early on.

Plus, we REALLY don't want to see them celebrate here.

I don't even think he had his A stuff in game 1. He walked like 4 or 5 guys and did get into trouble, though the Jays didn't take advantage.

Forgot about the walks, his stuff seemed good though. Wasn't he hitting 97? Don't think he does that normally.

I know that feeling exactly. It's what I felt the Saturday and Sunday after 0-2 to the rangers.

Might have more to do with lowered expectations than anything else.
