Why? Try and develop him as a starter. He's got 3 good pitches. Fantastic whiff% on his slider and change, and he's got a 3000 RPM curveball. The bullpen is always going to be an option.

He's a bit old but he's shown strikeout ability throughout the minors which is always a big positive, could indicate that if being a depth starter doesn't work out he could have some success out of the bullpen.

This app sucks. I don't even see how to view a box score, or follow a Gameday type thing.

Yeah, I think you might be dumb because I'm not having issues with any of those things. For gameday, try pressing the button that says "gameday"

Not surprised Pearson is a tad rusty, but his stuff is absolutely electric. Fastball 95-100mph, often touching 99.

87-89 slider, high 70s curve, and a change up. His stuff is video game.

 

Had a little bit of trouble in the 3rd inning, but you can sorta blame Vlad for giving them an extra out by slowly throwing to 1B—the single should’ve been an out, which extended the inning. Still only gave up 1 ER.

 

Pearson finished 5.0IP 4H 1R 1BB 6K 1.80 ERA

 

Ryan Noda is actually looking good. Even on the time he strikes-out he gives you a high quality at bat (8 pitch AB where he drew a 3-1) Also had a RBI single.

 

On a side note: lots of people getting caught stealing up and down the farm
