According to Jon Heyman of Fancred Sports, the agents for White Sox top prospect Eloy Jimenez are considering filing a grievance over his lack of a promotion to the majors.

Advice: "How can you say with a straight face this guy needs to work on anything?," Paul Kinzer, the president of Rep1 baseball agency, told Heyman. "What’s he need to work on?" It's a fair point, as Jimenez has posted an incredible .365/.406/.604 batting line with 11 home runs and 32 RBI in 51 games at Triple-A Charlotte, after slashing .317/.368/.556 with 10 homers and 42 RBI in 53 games for Double-A Birmingham. White Sox player development director Chris Getz said earlier this month that the 21-year-old was "really close" to being called up, but it obviously hasn't happened yet.

Hit another Dinger last night.

Tell him to keep crying about it. This is a business. Want to blame someone blame the people who negotiated the CBA.

TJ Zeuch 5IP 2ER 1BB 4K

120 IP 3.08 ERA 1.26 WHIP 81 K 31 BB in AA over the season.

Both him and Jon Harris should be in AAA next season.

Also Forrest Wall is an interesting prospect : He hit .206/.289/.359 in 46 games in Hartford but ever since coming to New Hampshire he's hit

.265/.351/.376 in 32 games. 22 year old CF prospect.

Cal?

Cal Stevenson, CF lead off hitter for Bluefield. I know he's a solid year older than the average age in his league, but the numbers he's put this year are impressive.

That's a pretty awful slash line.

And Zeuch has a terrible K/9 of 6.08 in AA. What's he going to have in the majors? 4.5?

Zeuch isn't about the K9. Seems to have decent command of the strike zone with heavy sinking action. It will interesting to see what an MLB defence will do behind him.

In the majors, I'm guessing his would be in the 5's or lower. I just don't see many successful SPs in the majors with K/9 that low?

He's a tall Matt Leake

Mike Leake

Anyways, Zeuch has really solid stuff and is just an adjustment away from getting enough K's to succeed in the majors. I wouldn't give up on him as a starter just yet

Yeah, this is what I see if things work out for Zeuch.

If he was an Oriole, Zook would probably get slapped with a 55 FV.

The Josh James era has begun.

Dude was hitting 100/101 with regularity in his last few starts at AAA. I imagine he's the type to struggle immensely in the MLB for the first little while - and he may have to reel in that fastball a bit in order to command it better - but the upside is tremendous. Dominant late-inning relief pitcher is the floor here, imo.

Stubby Clapp will be managing Bo, Vladdy and Biggio in the AFL. Potential next Jays manager? Your thoughts?

Richard Griffin seems to think so... :P

I'm taking a gamble and starting him in fantasy tonight

It's a possibility I suppose. I wonder if the Cleveland connections rears it's head again and Sandy Alomar Jr shows up.

He was one of the final 4 in consideration when Farrel was hired, and was also on the Cubs and Red Sox radar in 2011.
