Was at the NH game tonight...not a great one to go to haha.

 

Vlad struck out on 3 pitches and looked absolutely foolish in one at bat. He beat out a groundball for a single for his only hit of the night. Didn’t get much action at 3B, but he didn’t look completely out of place.

 

Bo did not have a good game at the plate at all. A couple weak pop ups and lots of swings and misses. Nothing going on at SS, so tough to make any conclusions there.

 

Biggio had a nice double ripped down the line. But the real highlight of the night was Mr. Tebow who struck out in his first four at bats and got gunned down at 2nd after a hit in the 9th.

The highlight of that walkoff is the pitcher emphatically pointing up as if to signal that it was a pop-up....only for the ball to go ~430 feet.

Have to keep Vlad right where he is. The Blue Jays are quite bad and even though he would help this team would be way better off saving that extra year of control and selling off pieces at the deadline. Bringing him up to mainly DH and maybe play 3rd once or twice a week just doesn't make any sense.

And that's why it's hard for many to get really invested in the Jays while they're owned by Rogers. Already planning on losing Vladdy because you know they won't ante up and pay him the $400m contact he could get.
