500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Jays will get no respect going jnto postseason, they look like chumps
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Remember that Atlanta start when the game was 2-2 in the 6th, and Buehrle had thrown 5 innings or something like 65 pitches? He could have easily gotten through 7 but Gibbons took him out so that Cola could hit with 2 runners on. That was the difference between 200 innings and 198+ with this embarrassment of an ending. Gibby managing NL games is not going to be fun if this team makes it to the World Series.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Getting their f***ing ass kicked.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Put in Pompey, Carrera and the rest of the B team. Eddy can stay to try and get 40 I guess.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 on the bright side, when the jays come back and win they will set a Franchise record for team runs scored.
HammerJay Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 This is what happens when you think with the heart and not the head. I can't believe a professional sports organization put personal stats of a players ahead of a tangible advantage in the playoffs.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Omg...hope those two games off helps the Jays, cause it blew home field
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 f***, Buerhle could have done that. Exactly the phrase that went through my head
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 quit blaming the ump, our pitching sucks today
WTFBuck Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Tepera's pop ups are power pop ups...
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Omg...hope those two games off helps the Jays, cause it blew home field Shut the f*** up already with this narrative.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 let buerhle pitch in the playoffs if there is a blowout. It can't end like this.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 ... Texas a much better matchup than NYY I would think. Hamels, Hollan both LHP. Wow. Just, wow.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 on the bright side, when the jays come back and win they will set a Franchise record for team runs scored. The game would take like 5 hrs then

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Couldn't possibly have gone any worse. What a way to go into the playoffs.

Gibby managing NL games is not going to be fun if this team makes it to the World Series. Remember when this team was still playing for a playoff position then? Yeah, me too! I don't blame him for that... If he HADN'T done that I think I would be more upset. Common guys, we can point to many things but even Burly was his worst enemy this season with injuries..
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 what a disaster. serves them right. f***ing idiots in charge.
blurnandez Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I really can't believe the umpiring in this game. If you're going to give someone a bit of a liberal zone, this was the game for it. There were at least 3 balls that could have been called strikes and nobody would have argued. Just another example of an ump's ego trumping the actual game. This s*** happens too often.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Welp. That didn't go as planned.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hamels starting today for the Rangers, so he can't go Thursday unless they pitch him on 3 days rest. I'm actually worried about lefties since Gibbons appears to have Edwin at 1st and Cola at DH against them nowadays, which is beyond stupid. Heck, it's uncertain who the Rangers will have to pitch by Thursday, especially if the Rangers lose, Astros win, and they end up in a play-in game for the division or wild card.

EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I'd like to see our hitters at least go out with some fight in this game, Goins and EE especially.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Hopefully EE doesn't let that error affect him. We all know how much his defense affected his hitting before..
