BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I don't know but change the name of this thread to "Pray 4 Price" It seemed to work for Tulo
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Gibby is sitting him Zaun says there's something up Discuss Pushed back until Game 1 of the ALDS, since the Jays clinched. Nothing wrong.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 We're resting him for a week heading into a stretch where he's going to pitch every 4 days... makes sense to me.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Pushed back until Game 1 of the ALDS, since the Jays clinched. Nothing wrong. That's what I want to think

King Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Partially torn ucl per shi davidi could require TJS
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Odd though isn't it? Home field is a big deal... We already have home field advantage locked up for the ALDS and WS. One additional home game in the ALCS, and only if we play KC... that's all that's at stake here.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 They gave him an extra day or two shortly after we got him and he was throwing killer hard next time out

It is not a bad idea to rest top starters, especially with all the work expected through the postseason, when they're pitching every 3 games (including off days).
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Partially torn ucl per shi davidi could require TJS STFU troll filler

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Partially torn ucl per shi davidi could require TJS Not true and Shi Davidi never said anything about that.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Not true and Shi Davidi never said anything about that. Dude, seriously??
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Partially torn ucl per shi davidi could require TJS Why do you do this
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Odd though isn't it? Home field is a big deal... Not really. Resting our ace to be able to pitch Game 4/5 if necessary for the ALDS is more important.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Well he did get shelled against Tampa, so there may be concerns.
bowld Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 He could very well have some ailment of some kind. After-all, he wasn't his dominant self last time out
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Other than being hungover today, he's perfectly fine.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 And to put an end to this stupid rumor, some actual news. He is fine and will be ready for October 8th:
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Well he did get shelled against Tampa, so there may be concerns. He got shelled the time before that he faced Tampa as well. Then he came to us and dominated
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 And what did we learn here today folks? Don't trust the femanalyst Greg Zaun
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 They need Price to pitch to Tulo instead of Hutchison so he doesn't get beaned.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Zaun didn't say that Price was injured. He said that he didn't understand the move, and then laid out a few of the possibilities that could explain it. One was that there was a slight injury, one was that Price would pitch to Tulo in a simulated game (which appears to be the case) instead.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 And to put an end to this stupid rumor, some actual news. He is fine and will be ready for October 8th: Great...news? Even if he wasn't "fine" they wouldn't be announcing that to the world in the "news". The reality here is nobody here knows if he is or isn't fine. We wont know. Lets just hope this is rest as many say.
