EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 JD is obvious player of the game with his defensive/offensive performance at the end there, but man, I think Smoak today deserves it almost as much as well, he's the one who kept us in this ballgame, loving his new approach of going with the ball the opposite way. Keep that up and the lineup becomes that much more of a threat in the playoffs.

spats Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 AA deserves executive of the year for the Donaldson trade alone.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Very exciting game. Smoak (future 100-RBI player), Donaldson (MVP), future All Star Pillar and amazing Cecil all made big contributions. And of course, BBBB's GDT added that 0.001% that won the game. (it's black magic or Big Bouncey Blue Balls magic ). Thanks for that little bit of effort you made.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Smoak, Pillar, and Donaldson; every day a different hero. CRAY CRAY. Also I can't stop watching the replay lol; the crowd was insanely loud. And also laughing at the fact that Revere derped his gatorade dump at home plate.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Full disclosure, I was sad to see Lawrie go when the trade was announced. Feel free to mock me.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 LOL see Papelbon go after Harper in the Washington dugout. Went for the neck. What appears to be initially due to Harper not running out a flyball
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Full disclosure, I was sad to see Lawrie go when the trade was announced. Feel free to mock me. as long as you didn't think Lawrie was better, its alright to feel sad

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 And also laughing at the fact that Revere derped his gatorade dump at home plate. One of my favourite highlights of the season. haha so much fail.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 JD's walkoff is not one of the ESPN headlines lol anti-canadian bias is real
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 What about that Pillar kid. Future All Star, am I right or am I right he'll never hit enough to be an all star he's good though, who knows if this is his peak or he will continue to get better.... i think he'll have even better years, but would still trade high on him this offseason.... Pompey is ready and Alford not far behind
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 JD's walkoff is not one of the ESPN headlines lol anti-canadian bias is real the 2nd headline is "McCutchen never bringing back dreadlocks" lol

Joe Shades Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 JD's walkoff is not one of the ESPN headlines lol anti-canadian bias is real It is because of the Pro New york Bias, same as always hearing Dallas is America's team, No one ever sent me that memo. This is why i never watch ESPN , it is garbage to me. It is not Anti Canadian bias, it is anti everyone else except who we anoint as great like Dallas or the New York teams

Pompey is ready and Alford not far behind How is Pompey ready? Pompey was rushed into a starting role this year because he is Canadian, however he needs a couple of more years split between AAA and the Blue Jays to show that he is ready before the Blue Jays should trade someone with the potential of Pillar.
baubau Verified Member Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 so is pompey our 4th guy next year? I hope he is in the minors instead. He is a waste to be the 4th guy. Ideally you'd like Saunders to fill that role but understandably want some insurance in case, so a Carrera-like player would be ideal as the 4th/5th OF.
