Anyone going to Atlanta?

First post- I've been out of the forum game for a long time.

 

I grew up in Winnipeg and have been a Jays fan forever. I do a lot of traveling for work and I consider having to be 500 miles from Turner Field on Wednesday to be "in the area", haha. I've seen the Jays in New York, Tampa, and Minnesota, and we always travel well, but I've been blown away by the away groups I've seen on TV recently, so I figured I'd preemptively introduce myself and see if there's anyone on the boards that's going to be traveling to Atlanta. I grabbed a (ridiculously cheap) ticket to Tuesday's game and wouldn't mind taking over Turner Field like we did to Fenway and Yankee Stadium.

Would wearing a Jays hat and a Winnipeg Jets jersey (Former Atlanta Thrashers) be too much trolling? Just looking for a conversation starter, not a stabbing, haha.

Around the parks nothing's gonna happen.

 

If you're getting away from the parks, Detroit is by far the worst, Oakland is just really, really dark.

 

I parked too far from Turner and ended up losing my landmark, because the skyline was lost from late afternoon to night. Took me an hour walking through downtown Atlanta to find a cross street and found the lot.

 

It was more of being uncomfortable in a dark downtown at night, by myself.
