Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Don't think these guys get enough credit, due to the bigger names on the team. But Smoak/Cola platoon has put up 29 HR's 90 + RBI, behind the big bats giving this lineup even more depth. We also know how good Smaok is on D.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Portabello is a gift of the Gods

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I'm still waiting for Portobello to get destroyed by the BABIP gods. At this point I think we'll have to wait for 2016

nextyear Verified Member Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I appreciate both Smoak and Colabello. I have liked Smoak's defense from the start of the season, and have started liking Colabello at 1B also.

He's obviously not a true talent .330 hitter, but he's squaring up the ball nicely and hitting it all over the field.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 lol mj. Those aren't even close to true platoon numbers considering Colabello played in the outfield for his first 2 months.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 uh tell me more about Smoak,s superior gluv,i want to learn more, pls I like both players...but people like you almost makes me wish that someone would put a car bomb in Colabello's ride so you're stuck with Smoak full time. Show me a player that makes every single play every time, and I'll show you a figment of your imagination.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I'd be starting Cola over Smoak with EE and Tulo out of the line up if I was managing. Easy to see why....
