NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 If Loup is in there for Bradley only I like the move. Gibbons will leave him in there though, probably.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Loup is going, we may have a chance
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yes, Loup gets an out and is out of the game. Good to see Hendriks out there.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Nice job using relievers the way they are supposed to be used. Hopefully that shuts a few people up on here.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Jays have to play Boston yet again this year. Nice.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 the sabermetric folk on this forum will say he's our best pitcher after Price True, they were saying that.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Well, at least Loup is being limited to one point relief as he should be. Nice to see Hendriks afterwards and not Tepera as well.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 True, they were saying that. They are clearly idiots lol.
NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Guys Hutch is 13-3 remember what zaun said! If all he did was pitch at SkyDome (despite his record being what it is in large part due to run support) I wouldn't have a problem with him getting the ball.
rydermike Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Hendriks is 4-0. All he does is win. Zaun probably thinks he should be our #1 starter
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 With Price going tomorrow? And I wouldn't say that our pen has been even been remotely close to being overworked either... at least not our main pen guys. Girardi is going overboard in that sense but conversely I feel that Gibbons is being too conservative with it.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 the sabermetric folk on this forum will say he's our best pitcher after Price I like analytics and think they are an extremely helpful and useful resource. But its annoying that some posters seem to think the numbers tell the whole story and are never flawed. Hutch it a perfect example. He may have a decent K to walk rate but his BABIP against is high because he simply misses his spots too much and makes too many mistakes
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 the sabermetric folk on this forum will say he's our best pitcher after Price If Hutch is our second best pitcher, then this would have to be the worst rotation in MLB history.

Jayday Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 If martin's not healthy ..navarro should be playing and give martin a rest and hope he recovers enough to play in a couple of weeks ..as he is now..he's hurting the team.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Hendriks hung that
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Well, just gotta hope the Yanks lose.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 If martin's not healthy ..navarro should be playing and give martin a rest and hope he recovers enough to play in a couple of weeks ..as he is now..he's hurting the team. Navarro has been the worst hitter on the team. Not sure why people love him.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Jays have looked bad this series in almost all aspects.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 If martin's not healthy ..navarro should be playing and give martin a rest and hope he recovers enough to play in a couple of weeks ..as he is now..he's hurting the team. Yeah he was definitely hurting the team with that laser to gun down Castillo last night in the 9th.
The Analog Kid Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Of course it would have to be the sox to cool off the jays.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yeah he was definitely hurting the team with that laser to gun down Castillo last night in the 10th. It was the ninth.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Still only the fourth ugh.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 This team has looked pretty shaky in a number of games recently, not exactly what you want heading into NY for 4 (i.e. likely the most crucial series of the season).
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 the monster is really f***ing us over this series. Their OF have the angles figured out, ours don't. Their OF are turning our doubles into singles. We aren't able to do the same to them.
labadee Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 this game isn't over until it's over. go jays!
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Even Hendriks is coming back down to earth as of late it seems. Just gonna have to cheer for Orioles to pull one off today. Hopefully even if they lose they at least threaten enough for Girardi to use Bet/Miller again.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
