He may actually be obligated to talk to them. Also could simply be the case that once it came out they just paid the for it all to make it go away (an easy price to pay to save bad PR). The store could have even just paid him since this isn't the best PR for them (esp with how much attention the Jays are getting), who knows, maybe they never even knew Travis ended up actually paying for it?

Apparently GotStyle offered to gift the suit but Sportsnet declined and said "just give a discount." Kevin Pillar participated in a GotStyle event and got a free suit.
