This is a very serious thread regarding the Bluejays dugout celebrations. I have noticed for a while since the departures of Jose Reyes and "God damnit I love it" Danny Valencia, the dugout celebrations have been, for lack of a better word, lame. Just look at the difference between the celebration to Arod's grand slam:

And Donaldson's 3R HR tonight

Is there an issue now with team chemistry with all these new faces???

It's about. Expectations they don't celebrate little things like that because they expect them

I don't buy that. The Yankees have been in first place all season and still have way better celebrations.

Lol, that video doesn't even show most of the high-fiving going on in the dugout since it pans away to crowd.

Furthermore, who cares? I like how they're going about it right now like it's a business. They're here to win, end of story.

Fine, look at Donaldson's first homer then. Much longer camera angle of the post-homer dugout celebration (PHDC). Still super lame.

Your argument isn't getting any stronger comparing the reaction to a 1st inning solo home run with a go-ahead grand slam in the 7th at home.

#1 The Yankees were at home and the celebrations are always bigger

#2 A grand slam is more celebratory than a 3-run HR (even though it's only 1 more run)

#3 The 2 guys at homeplate were just pranking Josh the way they walked away

#4 The camerawork was way better on the Yankees, getting right in on it

#5 The Yankees are all gay, so it's a lovefest regardless

The mentality has changed. Tulo and JoDo are 'lunch pail' guys. Its work and this is how it should be. You hit a home run, you still have not accomplished a thing. If you watch the Giants play and win, that is how a professional organization works.

The emotion is there, they just know the end goal.

We didn't see Joe Carter jumping around the bases every time he hit a home run did we?

I much prefer our players NOT acting like clowns. I'm happy they got rid of a few of them.

the jays have had plenty of great celebrations. Donaldson is on fire and Arod has been slumping. The Jays were playing on the road against the worst team in baseball and the yanks were at home playing a rather pesky minnesota twins team.

I have NO IDEA who you might be talking about
