BrianV Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I assume it's Rogers? I just realized that MLB.tv blacks out the postseason games. Which means, if the Jays make it I won't be able to watch unless I drop the money for a satellite subscription, and that's not going to happen ;(
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Nah rogers is going to let TSN do it out of friendship and love
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I'm sure Rogers would continue to broadcast it, probably on SN1 since it would force people to upgrade their packages. If not, CTV or TSN would probably just use the ESPN or Fox Sports feed. Either way, it'll obviously be out there.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 mlb.tv doesn't stream postseason games? What a bunch of bs lol
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 You can watch postseason games the same as regular season games. Just pay for a VPN or use a free one. Barring that, you can pay extra for Postseason.tv which is blackout free.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 mlb.tv doesn't stream postseason games? What a bunch of bs lol I've watched the postseason in its entirety on mlb.tv the past 3 years with no issues.
BrianV Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Postseason Live Blackout: Due to Major League Baseball exclusivities, during the MLB Postseason, all live games except for those games for which Authenticated Access is available, will be blacked out in the United States (including the territories of Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada. If you are an MLB.TV Subscriber in an area subject to blackout each of these games will be available as an archived game approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of the applicable game. I pulled that from the mlb.tv page. I suppose I could VPN, but I still don't like that they are trying to force me into a satellite subscription. The only reason I use mlb.tv is because I don't have one in the first place...

Seems like a bit of a half-assed version...

What brain is saying is true: MLB would have you believe you can't watch the post season with your mlb.tv account. I've been worried that I will have to get cable this October...

IDK, unless they changed something noticeably (and I feel there would have been a noticeable backlash) I'm going to assume everything is the same.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 There will be a few illegal HD streams.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Go here everyday around game time. They post tons of links for the streams. There's always a great youtube link to full 1080p stream, i use it all the time to watch out of market games. The mods remove the threads each day that's why it looks barren but around game time you'll see more stuff. They'll definitely have post season game too, it's pretty scummy of the mlb to charge subscribers even more to watch post season games. https://www.reddit.com/r/MLBStreams/

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This site has been so awesome this season, I hope it never ends! it has outlived a lot of attacks. US govt has tried to close it down a few times, but it lives. There are some other sites that are out there but they are more complicated. goatd is one click and work with reasonable quality for free. better streams need outside software which becomes a little more complicated for people who are not as computer savvy.
