With all due respect, I can't even believe your are allowed to post on this forum with what is now what - account number 9, 10, 11? Let alone telling everyone how this place should be moderated. Pretty bold for someone who joined "July 30, 2015". You complain about insults, yet I've seen you call posters 'idiot' more than once on this account and on all of your others since mid 2013. You're like that serial killer who everyone knows has murdered more people than they know of, only your claim to fame is user accounts on a Blue Jay message board. Seriously, you should be more worried about the possibility of life long incarceration than a message board. You are truly one f***ed up person.

 

While we are talking about this board...

 

Can we at least stop posters from just posting "lol" or something useless to that effect? I mean, we have posters (likely in the age 12-18 range) who clearly have the attention span of a moth and when someone like Olerud or Twisted makes a longer post, the reply from some of these ADD cases is "lol" or "tldr". Is that really better than someone trying to contribute something even if they're out to lunch?

 

There is a much better chance I get something out of a longer post compared to a 3 letter post which is just made to piss off the long winded poster.

The first day I joined I was called Dogg, MJ, etcc and about 4 other aliases, and since then the same posters jump on me for the simplest things "LIke saying Tulo is struggling". I didn't need to be here long, nor is it hard to see what the issues are with this forum. LIke a serial killer? Get some perspective dude, it's a message board for a baseball team.....not a place where decisions are made that effect humanity. If I ever lashed out it was due to constant harassment from people with zero tolerance and inability to simply ignore or accept views that differ from them. To a new comer this place is a mess, and unwelcoming. The Mob mentality on this forum is the single biggest issue here. As soon as someone calls someone doog, 5 others come out of the bushes and say the same and gang up on the poster just because..it's ridiculous. It's like a fraternity or some weird boys club.

You don't even hide it well. You make the same spelling and grammar mistakes on each account. Like capitalizing the first two letters of a word when beginning a sentence. I'm guessing you wouldn't vote for North as a mod since he had a very detailed post a while ago showing the patterns in each of your accounts. The tone of the posts are similar too once you've been outed as you start with a very quick, rage fuelled message with multiple spelling/grammar mistakes.

Regarding the sabermetric topic, there needs to be some respect from both camps. There are those(like myself) that are more old school and not into all that number crunching, comes from being a 35 year old dinosaur that's been watching baseball for 23 years. Lol I know a lot of the younger guys are really into it, and that's fine.. but just keep in mind that the old school folks are not dumb just because we look at the game of baseball from a more simplistic angle. On the flip side of that, I also feel that the sabermetric guys bring a lot to the table and nobody should berate or belittle them for it. I respect their knowledge and have even learned some things. I guess you can teach an old dog some new tricks.
