saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 between the second and third strike to donaldson the ump clearly spit on a baseball....why would he do that? Anyone?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Gibby should know that he's already behind the eight ball being on New York and just STFU. Nothing wrong with protecting your hitter?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I was only half paying attention, but didn't Gibby go on the field to yell at the ump about balls and strikes? It looked like he went out to ask why he wasn't asking for help on the check swing to me. Who knows what he actually said though. Ump really should have given some rope there.
204Jays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I guess Gibbons didn't feel like manging today. No reason to come out of the dugout. Looks like the Jays are getting a tighter zone, I dont think Gibby coming out was unjustified.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Lol why is Brendan Ryan sporting a 70's porn stache? It looks awful.
Ehjays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 same as Donaldsons swing but not a strike.......f*** off
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 What's wrong with police? Most of the police I know are good people who just do their jobs. It's not their fault you're a moron. Cops in Canada are very nice. In the US, they have very little patience for ********. But with everyone having guns, I understand them.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Lol why is Brendan Ryan sporting a 70's porn stache? It looks awful. He's trying to pull a Thurman Munson and it's not working at all.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Yeah. The argument was over the fact that the umpire called two consecutive check swings on Donaldson without asking for help, they were both close calls. Exactly...*Umpshow.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 from what I've seen so far.. Missed Calls Against Tracker Yankees: 4 Blue Jays: 2
everzz Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Please Smoak do something this inning, at least work the count up....
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 All ww need is 2-3 runs. Is that asking too much?
ColdPint Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 The umpshow is so goddamned frustrating because you know nothing will ever change. They'll just continue to run without accountability and impact games way more than they ever should be allowed to. Bush league.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Honestly, I f***ing love this version of Gibby, he doesn't just have to protect Joey Bats anymore, he backs up this whole team and you know the players appreciate it.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 from what I've seen so far.. Missed Calls Against Tracker Yankees: 4 Blue Jays: 2 It's about the ump's strike zone, he's not giving our pitcher the same strike zone.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 from what I've seen so far.. Missed Calls Against Tracker Yankees: 4 Blue Jays: 2 yeah...but is the ump spitting on the ball for just the yanks..lol
S33n Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 from what I've seen so far.. Missed Calls Against Tracker Yankees: 4 Blue Jays: 2 Yesterday I counted 4 or 5 pitches the Yankees got called for a strike that were further off the plate than any strike call the Jays received. A few of them were in big situations too, it's so damn blatant.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 It's about the ump's strike zone, he's not giving our pitcher the same strike zone. just going by pitch trax, no bias
