Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 If we were to find ourselves in the WC game, and between the two teams mentioned above, who'd you rather duke it out against? For me, it's the Angels if we're not facing Richards.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Houston dumn dumn...they K a lot. Our Bats crush anyone.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Jays have played awful at Minute Maid Park. If the Jays play the Astros at the Rogers Centre, not a problem. Though I'd rather play the Angels to be honest. I'm scared of facing DK to be honest in a one game wildcard.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Kazmir owns us too Yeah I wouldn't be afraid of the Angels starters. I mean outside of Richards, I think the Jays bats could really let loose against them.

Price would K the f*** out of the Astros, my bet, Stros please in one game. Mind you, we'll catch the Yankees, and f*** this s***. Hell we'll take home field advantage.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 First two player to reach HOFer merits: 1-Pujols 2-Trout Sorry Koufax
strochez Verified Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I'd rather face Astros because we'll most likely face Keuchel or Kazmir. Jays absolutely mash against lefties.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Angels may lose Wilson for the season. Astros for the win now
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Considering Wilson's strong season, it's a tough break for the Angels. And it's still possible both the Jays and O's get the wild cards instead of the Angels. I mean, the Angels have serious offensive depth issues after Pujols, Calhoun and Trout. If any of them got hurt, it would be trouble for the Angels.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 The season ends on a Sunday and (I believe) the A.L. WC game is on the Tuesday ... therefore if a team wants their ace ready to pitch the WC game on normal 4 days rest then he has to sit for the final series of the season ... which is interesting (and risky) if that team is still battling for a division title or desperately trying to snag the 2nd WC spot.
