burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 According to Fangraphs he has been alright in CF and LF and awful in RF. Inside Edge loves him in LF. Has made every play besides 4 "remote" plays. (1-10% chance)
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I'm fine with Revere batting leadoff against RHP until Travis is back. Then I think Travis should move to the #1 slot and send Revere down to #9. He'll still score a pile of runs hitting in front of the top of the lineup.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Worse LF hitter - Ben Revere Revere > Melky
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Very Nice. Hopefully no Pompey or Alford
baloojayz Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 What is the hold up with the names of guys going back?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Revere > Melky Melky is DH, buddy!!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 The cost will be reasonably high. If we've got him for this year + 2 more...we'll be paying a premium. I'm thinking Pompey gets moved...The Phillies can slot him into the lineup tomorrow. You'll probably see an arm go as well. SRF would be tough to swallow. I can see Conner Greene as he's seen a jump in velocity and has moved up lists. Then maybe a C-level guy after that...A Lugo...A Dean...Nay...something like that. That would be my guess. Alford/Pompey + Smoral + Lugo + Dean
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 That is kinda how Ang would spell Philadelphia
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 What is the hold up with the names of guys going back? The reporters are trying to figure out if the players going back are real people.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like the idea of a Valencia and Revere platoon in LF if you're comfortable letting Smoak face LHP. My worry is this means we're going to send Carrera down and keep Chris Colabello (101 wRC+ since the start of June) and his horrendous defence around.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 That is kinda how Ang would spell Philadelphia Spanish: Filadelfia or Philadelfia. Bitches

Gibby has a man crush on Italian dude, cuz he's clutch and all that kinda puke inducing logic. Hopefully AA found a way to ship Colabello to papa Amaro
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Ben Nicholson-Smith Have heard #Phillies aimed high in Ben Revere talks, asking on some top #BlueJays prospects.

ColdPint Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 There's absolutely no chance Pompey or Alford are going the other way. None. Right?
