pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Unlike most, I like what he brings to this team. Let's hope the return isn't too high.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Seems like a good LH OF who shouldn't be too expensive. Really like what the Jays have done so far today. He can also play CF which is nice since Pillar seems like he could use a day off once in a while. Works well with Jays being so RH heavy.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 If we give up anything significant it's stupid IMO. I would have much rather Pompey up
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I am going to do flips if Bello is going the other way
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 f*** lol if this team doesn't go to the playoffs AA is not to blame
0ctobyte Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 AA did a good job, but damn we better not be paying too much for Revere.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 All on the players and Gibby now. No excuses. Good work AA
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 How good is a platoon of Revere and Danny V
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like Revere as a #9 hitter. If we bat him leadoff, that I have a problem with.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 AA's body of work this year should get him an extension.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Do you guys bat Revere leadoff vs RHP? 112 wRC+ vs RHP this year
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Nice! Revere is a good player and fits in perfectly.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like Revere as a #9 hitter. If we bat him leadoff, that I have a problem with. Great #9 hitter
bowld Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 He brings speed to the base paths that we lost in Reyes. I like the move assuming we didnt give up much
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Do you guys bat Revere leadoff vs RHP? 112 wRC+ vs RHP this year I'd still rather give those PAs to someone with a good OBP, namely Martin or Bautista.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 AA's body of work this year should get him an extension. in b4 pic of AA's ass.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like Revere as a #9 hitter. If we bat him leadoff, that I have a problem with. He's going to be that #9 'leadoff' hitter where there's speed at the bottom of the lineup. If not I too will have a problem lol
jays76 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I am going to do flips if Bello is going the other way No dude with this move we want to keep Bello because this will keep him on the bench more where he can be used as a PH. The guys swings a nice bat.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Having said that, Revere has a .370 OBP over the last month...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 No dude with this move we want to keep Bello because this will keep him on the bench more where he can be used as a PH. The guys swings a nice bat. Colabello is regressing as expected. Those PAs need to start going to Smoak.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like Revere as a #9 hitter. If we bat him leadoff, that I have a problem with. He's batting leadoff cause speed
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 AA is an all-star. He's done everything possible for the Jays. Even if we don't make the playoffs he should stay
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Cola is a nice bench piece, depth. For years we have been saying we need depth now we have it. Keep him. Having Smoak and Cola on bench is kinda like Tabby and Mulliniks back in da day
