ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup's 5th loss..... anyone still think he should be on the team? I really can't stand seeing him in the game Misused though. Same with Hendriks, Cecil and Schultz.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Cue the saber guys trying to argue Loup is actually good Loup is a loogy. Gibbons doesn't even know what that is, so how could he possibly know how to use him properly?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup's 5th loss..... anyone still think he should be on the team? I really can't stand seeing him in the game Loup is having a great year buddy, XFIP of 2.7 LOL
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 I hope all that extra rest Travis got was worth it, what a deflating loss, feels like we experience one every f***ing week
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 another 1 run loss Just a co-incidence buddy, Teams cant control when they score runs.
bluebird Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 I have said about 20 times this year send loup down but nope gibby wants to have a gay sex with him
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 He should have been sent down in May but Gibbons has a fettish for him. the only thing I was surprised about was Loup not hitting Cano. he hits lefties and righties crush his ass. where was Hendriks?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Please don't buy Alex. I hope someone from ownership steps in and fires him before he can do something stupid. Lame duck GM. Dont worry, he wont. And he isn't lame duck. He isn't going anywhere. Stay used to the Beast/AA/Gibby/Walker dream team.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup should be a lefty specialist or loogy. He's being used incorrectly. Shocking I know, given Gibby's history of using talent properly, but that's reality.
5minutesforframing Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup is a loogy. Gibbons doesn't even know what that is, so how could he possibly know how to use him properly? Loup is brutal
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 the only thing I was surprised about was Loup not hitting Cano. he hits lefties and righties crush his ass. where was Hendriks? Hendriks is the long man in Gibbons Bullpen.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 I don't even get why Gibbons hates Hendriks, his ERA is fantastic. Maybe it's his sexy accent
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Misused though. Same with Hendriks, Cecil and Schultz. Can't be misused...managers never impact the outcome of the game lmao (this isn't directed at you)
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup is brutal he looked ok against Cano, i wonder why?
5minutesforframing Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 he looked ok against Cano, i wonder why? Cano fell asleep during the delay
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Hendriks is the long man in Gibbons Bullpen. 0.9 WAR/2.28 FIP in 42 innings = long man. Gibbons is an advanced stats guy, obviously. Knows platoons, and splits, and stuff.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 See Managers are just show pieces. Its not important who is in the game Also all contact is the same. The hitter cannot control where the ball will end up, except for homeruns and strikeouts. Goins contact = Bautista contact if it stays in the park. Therefore hitters should only be judged on walks strikeouts and homeruns -Fangraphs.
S33n Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 This teams pitching is f***ing pathetic
bluebird Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 This teams pitching is f***ing patheticdon't worry i hear we are getting cueto
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 This teams pitching is f***ing pathetic Despite what happened this game was not lost due to pitching. The difference in this game was 2 at bats for Ryan Goins with runners in scoring position, one ending in a strikeout and the other in a triple play (Regardless of what happened) That was the difference. travis got a hit in his only at bat. He should have been in the entire game. Those 2 at bats were the difference between this becoming a blow out, or Walker staying in the game.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 don't worry i hear we are getting cueto Nah. Davidi said we have to give Cinci Bautista Donaldson Travis Stroman and Osuna if we want Cueto.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup is having a great year buddy, XFIP of 2.7 LOL I don't care what his peripheral numbers are... he's a late innings guy with 5 losses. that means he's come in 5 times and directly given it up. only RA and Estrada have more losses than Loup. 36 hits in 34.2 innings
Ehjays Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 He should have been sent down in May but Gibbons has a fettish for him. Poup should have went down instead of Delabar.....Actually they both should have went down
bluebird Verified Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Nah. Davidi said we have to give Cinci Bautista Donaldson Travis Stroman and Osuna if we want Cueto. If gibby thinks its a good trade i say we do it he knows baseball
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Loup is having a great year buddy, XFIP of 2.7 LOL His K/BB ratio has been superb. He tends to struggle against RHB and in a tie game where one pitch can decide the game, he shouldn't be there facing a RHB. All 6 HR's given up have come against RHB. Liam Hendricks should have been in that spot. I know its a small sample, though according to FanGraphs leverage index this season, Loup has a 4.10 xFIP in high leverage situations. Otherwise, he has been great.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 That triple play ended up f***ing us in the ass. No homo.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Bye bye loup hope u enjoy Buffalo!
