and what was going to lead to? Tied f***ing game in the 8th inning. He called an inside pitch a strike, tell him he's wrong and get back in the box. You can't argue balls & strikes it's going to get you tossed. He just hit a double his last at bat and we needed him there.

Either way, it's an umpshow. Jose still should have bit his tongue for the sake of his team, but the ump invited it like someone trying to get rear-ended and blame the other driver.

 

Yes he was power tripping but it was obvious as hell that's what it was going to lead to. We needed JB's bat in this game.

I think what the ump really didn't like was how far Bautista walked out of the box. That coupled with the bad heat today set the ump off
