Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I don't care if it were the 2001 Mariners, this game was unwinnable from the start. The fact that these umpires are protected by a union is a bigger blight on the sport than steroids! Still think we could have adjusted better to the pitching, but agreed on the umps
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Reyes is a pussy yeah...because having a ball tipped 2 feet in front of you is easy to adjust to...
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 still can't let the pitcher get off with 10 pitch innings. Have to take some first pitch strikes. we had him at almost 40 pitches after 2 and then got hack happy and he only needed 60 for for the next 6 innings. Are you watching the same game, the ump is calling strikes 5, 6 inches off the plate forcing the hitters to swing
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Loup got two lefties out... that's a nice change

I can't believe you think this game was winnable, with that strikezone? They hit him hard, he was lucky, period, with the help of a massive and unfair strikezone. You can't give MLB pitchers 4 to 6 inches off each side of the plate, don't be ridiculous. They had to hack away, fuelled by his zone.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 rally caps... and one of the virgins on the board needs to throw themselves to the BABPIP dragon.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Goddamit another good swing right to the fielder.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Rofl how many chickens did Gallardo sacrifice before this game

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Rangers had the same guy behind the dish when they were hitting today if I'm not mistaken.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Rangers had the same guy behind the dish when they were hitting today if I'm not mistaken. Right, and the strikezone wasn't the same.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Sheeit...what a waste of time. #Umpshow
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Need to win the series tomorrow....keep winning 2/3
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 thanks for wasting my afternoon Angel He was at third. I actually have no idea who was behind the plate today.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Gallardo pitched a gem today. LOL at people saying it was all luck. Sure he had a few hard balls hit right at defenders but such is the case for most pitchers to have a good outing. He induced ground balls all day and limited his walks. He was getting the outside strike calls all day long and wisely kept the ball on the outer half.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Tomorrow is a big game. Need to win our home series. All depends on which Hutch we get. Home Hutch equals Good Hutch
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Chi Chi is sweating buckets right now know the Jays offense is ready to make up for today's shutout. What kinda name is Chi Chi anyways a nickname
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Chi chi with a 2.8 k/9 rate. Don't see that too much....

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 I think we need a little King for tomorrows GDT.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Still can't believe how lucky Gallardo was... just ridiculous. Yeah his stuff looked pretty good but we had like 10 hard hit balls right at their fielders. FFS

Yeah his stuff looked pretty good but we had like 10 hard hit balls right at their fielders. FFS He was very lucky on some hard hit balls for sure but that's part of pitching a good game usually...what I thought was impressive was he kept taking what the ump and our line up was giving him to get outs hitting those spots. Anyway...f*** it...lets get them tomorrow.
