baubau Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 His look of "OHHHHHHHHHHHH SHITTT" is hilarious. Poor dude. Toronto Fans for you It was a Tigers fan that caught it. His Tigers hat and Tigers shirt gave it away. // Internet Detective //
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Idk how one can call that a fair ball
bzapple Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I'm just in awe that that guy was able to stand up in time to make that catch.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 That's a s***** call, in our favour, but still s*****. No way that should be a double. I don't think I've ever seen that before on a fly ball at RC.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Hard to judge, I would guess that was going foul
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Poor guy. Still, you've gotta know better.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 so really the fat man did a good thing??? there he goes! lol
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 What an idiot in a Tigers shirt. Hope they toss him out of the game.. I think if you can catch it like that, it's probably f***ing foul
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 He drops the ball afterward, like they weren't going to notice... lol
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Hard to judge, I would guess that was going foul Ya it was slicing hard
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 More surprised they initially called that fair
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Stanton's up to 25 HRs now. And there goes the fan in the Tigers outfit.. we won't be seeing him again for a while.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 He drops the ball afterward, like they weren't going to notice... Lol this was the best part. Get him outta there!
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I feel bad for the guy... but fan interference should always go against the home team imo.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Are you kidding me they're kicking him out? Yes it was a supid move but what do you expect of fans? Especially when your foul line comes within a couple feet of the stands.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Really insane that they're kicking that guy out... That can't be considered interfering with a ball in play.. he had no way of knowing that would be called fair.
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Lol this was the best part. Get him outta there! Just stick him up in the 500 section. Poor guy is at the game by himself just trying to enjoy a game
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Can you imagine how many HRs Stanton would have if he played in the AL East?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I dont think they kicked the fan out, probably just moved him to another location and gave him gift cards etc.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Really insane that they're kicking that guy out... That can't be considered interfering with a ball in play.. he had no way of knowing that would be called fair. It's rogers centre. They kick you out if you pick your nose.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 It didn't even look like Stanton swung that hard and it was crushed lol
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 As a batter I'd be very distracted by that hat.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I feel bad for the guy... but fan interference should always go against the home team imo. Nah, it would set a precedent for fans of other teams at road games to do so whenever they could in order to get calls for their team. Do your best to call it as it would have happened, and kick out the fan.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I feel bad for the guy... but fan interference should always go against the home team imo. They should just give him a stupid lecture about fan interference and then let him go back to his seat.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 As a batter I'd be very distracted by that hat. Then you're dumn
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Seriously that's kinda sad. I'll allow this
