Had an interesting thought the other day. If Donaldson were to win MVP he would obviously get more in arb. maybe 10 million more over the course of 3 years than he would of got. But would the revenue of the Blue Jays having a player win MVP be worth more than the extra money Donaldson would get in arb.?

Yeah.. in Bizarro world, those teams are playoff bound, while teams like the Royals, Jays, Yankees, and Astros are in last place.. Millar sure blew this one, with the Angels the only one that might make it as a wild card, providing they fight off the Twins/Rangers/O's/Rays.

Right but we don't have enough major league innings to say he's this guy going forward. He could go back to being a 1.0 war guy. All I know is Pompey better be given a fair shot or trade him
