Although your post wasn't directed at me, I decided to look it up. Surprisingly, the stolen base stats are similar in 2015 for Revere versus Pillar. However, I believe Pillar is faster/quicker and prefer him in cf.

We're not talking about stolen bases, we're talking about the whole base running component. Going first to third, first to home, second to home, not making outs and tagging up on fly balls. So far Pillar has been the best on this team

This is like saying that all you have to know about the weather is whether it is severe, bad, fair or good; most people want more of a breakdown than that. Most people want to know how players compare offensively, defensively and otherwise, how is this possible when all the information is combined into one metric?

WAR might be a good starting point but there is every reason to go further and look at the other stats.
