it's just not the same thing... live is always best. I find it hard to get excited about a game that I know is already finished.

Good news, the show will go on. John has picked up the package of fireworks for tonight's game. I was going to give him sparklers but he assures me he can handle them.

7-8-9 is really ugly.. hitting under .200 (or no hits at all). Basically, shut Calhoun/Trout/Pujols down and the Jays will have a decent shot.

thats not how baseball works. If those two didn't get injured, it would have probably been two other key players.

Yup...but at the end of the day we have to win it on the field. Our last game was an L to the lowly Phillies. Our offense hasn't been as good lately.

 

May I remind you the Phillies have a winning record post All-Star break? Plus, they're hitting better too.

Actually, that's not how the space-time continuum works. If those two didn't get injured, the new space-time continuum likely doesn't result in 2 other players getting hurt.

No shocker at all. Besides, in just over a week, rosters expand anyway and Thole would've been recalled anyway.
