Agreed, we know why they are 7 - 9. However, on the positive side, Revere led the NL last year in hits and Pillar had a great June, while Goins at-bat successes have been more spotty. I just hope they can get something going even if by random chance/luck.

Sure they were. The Jays averaged 39k fans in their comparable early August homestand (August 5-10) last year. This year maybe they get to 42k. It's a bump, for sure, but a similar amount. People were very excited last August too.

I notice you ignore the advance ticket sales point that was made - those sales have drastically increased. And despite August being a good month last year, it's still going to be significantly better this year. Again, it's a big deal and substantial bump in revenue.
