Go look at my post, go take your walk Eddy? So you'd have kept Goins in? This game is all hindsight, you'd be sucking him off if Martin hit one in the gap, it's stupid.

No I'd have pinch hit with Martin, if Gibby's goal was to hit with EE - they were never going to pitch to him. Also you bunted Thole to second who may only score on a single to centre, Harpers got a cannon in right- so why bunt.

No you can't the double switch is made on defense in which you can switch the order, having a guy PH for the pitcher just leaves that spot for the pitcher next time through, believe me man, you can't do it on offense.

Taking the guy who just hit for the pitcher and puttting him in the field would be no different that moving an actual pitcher to another position. That's just the rules man.

If EE came through it would likely be in the form of a sac fly (or homer), if he went up with 2 outs he loses that value so the best bat for Dickey would be Martin who has a .364 OBP in the event EE got out.

Who gives a s***, he put up 2 great hitters for the team's worst in an attempt to the tie game. Martin didn't come through regardless of the situation.

The assumption that Martin would walk, or that the non-bunt wouldn't have ended up in a double play is based on...?

WAT???

Here's what I meant:

Is Zimmerman being better than his usual self or is our offense turning to s***?

I know Zimmerman is good, but I couldn't tell if our offense was under performing against him too.

They would never pitch around Martin to get EE, so if saying the better hitter is Martin he gets his at bat anyway

If you don't bunt then EE comes up.

Or something else happens a liner to short to double the guy off, a strike em out throw em out on a hit and run, either way the base could be open for a walk or face Martin and EE with guys on 1st and second with 1 away or 2 away, if my Aunt had a dick would she be my uncle?

So they pitch to him... he grounds out and EE is up with 2 outs. I'd rather EE up with 1 out than 2 and pitching around batters is still not guaranteed regardless.

With one guy in scoring position?

There needs to be a report done for the Dickey effect on hitters on our OWN team. Often gets no run support lol!

Forgot to say: been following MLB since you were probably wearing pampers dude, so take it easyy with the dissing.

However I stopped following from 2010 to 2012, which explains why I didn't know about him.
