Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Despite awful K numbers, Steven Souza rocking a 131 wRC+, .234 ISO.

S33n Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Right down the middle and Goins decides he doesn't want to execute, lol.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 All sorts of dumb from the coaching staff and players
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Goins has proven to be a consistently awful hitter and a consistently above-average but unexceptional defender. Not sure what your point is. I'm not talking about his hitting. Goins' defence has been remarkably consistent in the MLB, there's no denying that. So stop pretending you can just pluck a generic middle infielder from the minors and think they'll be as consistent as Goins defensively, because that's a stretch. If there's a minor league player with as good or not better defence than Goins (which i'm sure there are), he's either a legit prospect or a player who won't hit as well as Goins in the bigs, or else they would be already up here (or a swing man at least).
labadee Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 if this was 2 outs, i'd just tell carrerra to steal home. goins already reached his offensive quota for the game
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Sac Fly better than nothing. A run is a run.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 what a f***ing piece of s*** goins loser cf
S33n Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 if this was 2 outs, i'd just tell carrerra to steal home. goins already exceeded his offensive quota for the game ftfy
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 One bad swing but good recovery by Goins - RBI
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Goins getting the job done. what a stud. results.
labadee Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Ump helped us with goins. shouldve struck out on that third pitch. bet the twins aren't too happy
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Carrera with the best hit of his career and it just scrapes the top of the wall. It seems like we are watching different ball players. To me Carrera has been a good find.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 LOL, even Goins wouldn't have swung at that.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 loser cf He's still a piece of s***, can't wait until I don't have to bear watching him everyday.
LTR Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Reyes derp, he's like pillar now only pillar walks more
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 The Goins haters presently silent until he records an out. LOL, f***ing losers.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 LOL, even Goins wouldn't have swung at that. But he swung at similarly bad pitch
