Jays:

• RA Dickey threw a complete-game win against the Angels last week, limiting the opposition to four earned runs on five hits as he picked up his second win of the season. Prior to his last outing, Dickey hadn't been striking out batters at the rate he's accustomed to, fanning only four over a three-start stretch. But the 40-year-old struck out a season-high seven Angels in what was his best start of the season on May 21.
  

 

White Sox:

• John Danks will make the start for the White Sox. Danks is scheduled to make his ninth start after enduring a loss to the Indians his last time out. Danks is 2-4 with a 5.70 ERA against the Blue Jays. He didn't factor into the decision the last time he faced Toronto, pitching six innings while giving up seven hits for three runs last August.

It's just odd being so peeved that a Jays starting catcher isn't in the lineup. When's the last time a Jay catcher was such a keystone offensive piece?
