Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Chump change for Burkie, good on him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Excellent job RA, let him complete it.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Looks like we're going to win this one and get closer to the sliding Red Sox, who are losing to Wandy freaking Rodriguez!
labadee Verified Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 secret to winning ballgame. don't let bullpen pitch
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Dickey pitched well tonight. He's not done, he's his usual inconsistent self. I expect more outings like this mixed in with some total garbage outings as we are accustomed to.
baubau Verified Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 secret to winning ballgame. don't let bullpen pitch Or have a solid outing by your pitcher going 8IP with 2ER.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Second double of the night for Goins? Off a LHP to on this one?
labadee Verified Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Or have a solid outing by your pitcher going 8IP with 2ER. blue jays could still find a way to lose that
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Think if the starters can finally give us consistently 6-7 innings pitched every night, the bullpen improves too! Also they are not as bad as some here think, already!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Second double of the night for Goins? Off a LHP to on this one? Great night with a walk too, great game.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Wait now is this the 3rd or 4th starter in a Row to go 6 inning or better? SP is starting to come around. Should automatically make the pen better.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Thank goodness the schedule finally eases up after this game.. Seattle and Chicago are bad teams. No idea on Minnesota, though.. still feel they're getting by on smoke and mirrors with their pitching, and they've hit enough to be a strong competitor.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Man, we were so close to sweeping this series, keep it up BlueBirds!

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Great night with a walk too, great game. Just got in. Anything out of the ordinary happen tonight, except for Goins with two doubles and a walk? Watched Dickey's last two innings, looks nasty.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Just got in. Anything out of the ordinary happen tonight, except for Goins with two doubles and a walk? Watched Dickey's last two innings, looks nasty. Danny V with an oppo Taco, Eddie Smash, everyone contributing and Dickey's dealt. All good.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 God are Buck and Pat stupid.. Seattle hasn't heated up at all. Yes they have big arms.. but they get little run support, as Nelson Cruz accounts for a good chunk of their offense. Why do you think the Mariners are 18-22?
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Just got in. Anything out of the ordinary happen tonight, except for Goins with two doubles and a walk? Watched Dickey's last two innings, looks nasty. The first double was because of a weird hop on the turf so it's really only one double.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Danny V with an oppo Taco, Eddie Smash, everyone contributing and Dickey's dealt. All good. EE with 10 HR all of a sudden.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 lol Brian Burke missed out He still got the executive cooking lesson.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 jinxfan2014 Have you even watched the Mariners or White Sox this season? Neither team can hit.. and the Mariners bench makes the Jays one look good, and Taijuan Walker has been a headache for the Mariners, who is only up due to injuries and lack of depth in the Mariners system. And Chicago is the lowest scoring team in baseball..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Oh well, i guess Dickey has to maintain that 5ish ERA, doesn't he?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Nice job Dickey and the Birds!! LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* #fysmc
