The left-hander was rather fortunate in winning his first three starts, receiving 11 runs of support each time. His 10.91 run-support average trails only teammate Drew Hutchison (11.15). Orilols: Chris Tillman is trying to avoid losing a career-high fourth straight start after surrendering 13 runs over 17 innings in the last three. He hasn't completed six innings in four of his six starts. Tillman is also looking to end a four-start slide versus Toronto, during which he owns a 9.45 ERA. He allowed seven runs in each of his two losses to the Blue Jays this season. jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 No Travis, most likely because he needs an off day to clear his head due to his recent slump. And Travis is likely done in the leadoff spot soon, as Reyes is due back shortly, likely either in Houston or the LA series.

Governator Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hey Carrera, it was you who had 2 doubles yesterday right? Ok perfect your leading off today. This game is going to be 14-11 final.

flafson Verified Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I think Travis should be in the number 2 spot, that will fix his problems.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 It's Blue Jay Time!!!!!!
LTR Verified Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I guess Carrera is our second best hitter since he's batting first?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 They couldn't find a lefty for Tolleson to start against?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Orioles may have lucked into finding a better catcher then Wieters
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Is this the Mets vs. Cubs thread? Looking for a place to discuss Noah Syndergaards first MLB start. Thx. http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1236049!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_635/dickey.jpg
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I think Travis should be in the number 2 spot, that will fix his problems. Agree 100%. Gibby doesn't possess the ability to realize that there might be a possibility that Travis just doesn't feel comfortable hitting lead off. I know it shouldn't make a difference, but some players are funny that way.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Every year it seems like we have to see a goins, tolleson + one other scrub every game. Obviously not this teams problem though
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Don't forget to make your pick for the many home runs tillman will give up tonight! http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/4337-Blue-Jays-Home-Run-Contest-2015/page79

I'm taking one for the team this year.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Would love to, but my choice had been made. I'm taking one for the team this year. If jays don't hit a home run tonight you will have to reverse the sacrifice. If they hit more than two I'll give ya a bonus
LTR Verified Member Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Buehrle has lost even more velo. We're going to get hammered tonight.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Buehrle has lost even more velo. We're going to get hammered tonight. we're supposed to get hammered on drunk Saturdays, but I think an exception should probably be made for tonight's game. so who's up for the shot game. one shot every time either team hits a home run? who's in?
