Spoonovic Verified Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Are they aware that the celebration isn't referencing stirring the pot but instead is referencing whipping crack in the kitchen? The song they took the celebration from talks about the "flick of the wrist" when someone is whipping crack. Kind of funny.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I don't know about other people, but I've found this thing to be hilarious. It's way better than that gay LoViste garbage or the slam-dunk air spank thing. I can watch Jays players stir crack all day. I can only imagine (with utter glee) how much it will infuriate Orioles fans.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It's ok to celebrate when doing it in a professional matter. This is Mickey Mouse stuff for 5 years old.

James Harden does this all the time too lol.
Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I thought it was a straw that stirs the drink ref. I was like wtf why are they doing that. It's dumb and I hope it doesn't become a thing. The best blue jay celebration is the Navarro tiny applause.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It already is a thing. James Harden made it a thing
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It already is a thing. James Harden made it a thing James Harden looks retarded.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Can't they just hit a double, stand on the base and clap! These lame celebrations are lame. Save the celebrations for when we actually sniff a play off spot.
BallsDeep Verified Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 lol, its a drake thing, "cooking in the 6 with the wrist motion". Its a little silly but anything is better than lo viste gang signs.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 I wish they still did that Lo Viste thing. But instead of a sideways V they did the "6" sign yeah, I'm retarded
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 honestly I find it funny, but they look retarded doing this s*** lol
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It's cringeworthy and not even original either.

Save the celebrations for when we actually sniff a play off spot. Well said. Maybe the team should come up with a celebration if their starting pitcher is still in the game in the 6th inning. I wonder if this stuff will start a rift in the clubhouse. The offense is good and they do have reason to celebrate, but they are still just a .500 team.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 It's a trend, I have no problems with it. Everybody's been doing it, especially more in Toronto since Drake mentioned it "In the 6ix cooking with the wrist motion"

Except maybe if you're an aspiring artist.

I'm not saying he's a model but it's a growing trend that all the young people are doing. I'm just saying it got further amplified by a huge Toronto artist so don't be surprised that it becomes a thing in the area for the time being
