Rogers would not approve any extra cash for free agent relievers. He made a couple of fantastic trades for Travis and JD but couldn't make a trade for a reliable reliever, as the return was probably too high. I just hope Rogers will allow him to pull a move ASAP for Paplebon or somebody reliable.

 

It's time to put Cecil and Estrada in higher leverage situations, Loup also.

AA made some amazing moves this off-season, but has ruined all the progress by ignoring an important aspect of the team

 

many would say this is akin to how he has ignored his health, many but not me

Rogers has shown that they are willing to invest heavily into the team. The team's payroll the last few years has been more than enough to put a winning product on the field. Blame the F.O. for not making proper use of the resources at their disposal.
