Why none of our plays are on there? We had a number of good plays that should be there.

Edwin homer, Pillar's diving catch and of course Navarro trying to get a double.

I just saw statcast for the first time while viewing some of the video replays on MLB.com, and I love it.

 

Statcast seems to still be in its infancy and will evolve over time. I found a list of some stats that are being compiled such as exit velocity off a batters bat (I have seen people give such stats on this forum before) - http://m.mlb.com/statcast/leaderboard#exit-velo

 

Hopefully there will be more stats made available such as how quickly a player can get from home plate to 1st plate after hitting a ball; although they would have to eliminate the situations when players don't run all-out (they could do an ultimate list and average speed stat).
