Probably 16. That looks like the 2003 world cup... a year earlier she was the youngest player to score in international competition. Too bad she had knee problems, could have been one of the greatest.

I really wanted her to be successful in her comeback last year, her coming back from a serious injury...while he can't come back despite no injury. That'd have to eat at him.

He's had dual knee, dual elbow and one shoulder surgery. He has no cartilage left in the one knee. Everyone's talking about how his issues are mental, they're all physical at this point, he is not capable of throwing the ball without a tremendous amount of pain. I don't think he will ever make it back, I'd be surprised if he has a job in baseball after this season.

If he was in tremendous pain in that 2012 season (which is very possible) he made the choice not to have surgery on the knees...instead he had PRP injections, he also continued pitch all season and his velocity really didn't drop (it was still higher than his 2010). I'm sure he's got pain and I don't believe that it's all mental. But he's always said he's healthy, at least until last season.

Has there ever been a lefty that throws a knuckler? I'm sure there has... Just can't recall one in my lifetime.

John Cunningham, eligible in the next draft, is one. He didn't even get a D1 offer though and is going to Lurleen B. Wallace community college.

I would draft him.

...said no team ever.

I recall Paul Kilgus at one time throwing knucklers
