King Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 1m1 minute ago Sources: #Dodgers reaching out today to a number of fallback starters (Cueto, Samardzija, Kazmir) in the event they fail to land Greinke. Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 59s60 seconds ago Hisashi Iwaukuma also is on list of potential alternatives for #Dodgers, sources say - potentially high on that list. Waiting on Greinke.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Damn thats a nice deal. Wonder if he didn't want to come to the Jays since its in Canada. I would of given him 38 maybe 40 million Didn't he say that he wanted to stay in the NL preferably?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 No prob. Assignments for Core 1 are just financial reporting with a little finance and tax, Core 2 is mainly management accounting... The Assurance exam is mainly audit with financial reporting... The assignments are just cases... But you need to do them properly or they won't let you write the exam at the end of the semester. Is everyone given the same cases for the assignments? Just curious because group studies would be nice lol.

BTS Community Moderator Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Arrietta Lester Hendricks Lackey Hammel Needs some depth but it's a fantastic top five. The Cubs are ridiculous. The only hole in their lineup is CF. If they can add someone there and maybe an elite pen arm their roster will be amazing.

BTS Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I can't wait to see the details. For Arizona to steal an elite player away from LA, it must be huge.

I wonder whether he was also interested in going to a smaller market. Word is he was always uncomfortable with being recognized in public.
Hipfan Verified Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Greinke always said he would play for the highest bidder...have to appreciate his honesty.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 grienke to Arizona... damn. Must be a gigantic overpay/ no way??
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 So both Greinke and Price just went with the highest bidder. Like seriously, wouldn't you rather take 10-15 million less and sign with a better team like the Cards/Cubs/Dodgers?
Professional Hitter Verified Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 David Price throwing shade at Toronto Saw the headline posted on SN's homepage with Price in a Red Sox cap. I closed the page, I can't even look at it...
Sorrow Verified Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I really like what Arizona has done recently. They're going to be an interesting team in the NLW.

BTS Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 6-year deal. Can it be 200+M?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Don't the D-backs suck?
SAAviour Verified Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 100% agree. There must be crazy pressure from players union...cause it makes zero sense to me.

In my experience, it's always better to go to the place where you will be happier, so long as the money is acceptable to you. I have an ex who works in design. When were were together, she took a job at a really corporate like firm, doing really dry, boring projects because it paid more. She worked there for about 2 years, and was miserable. She quite and found a job at a firm, for less pay, that was doing more creative, fun projects, and she was a lot happier. So yeah.....
