RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 What happens if two teams tie for the second wild card
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Go Astros! Want to see Keuchel v Tanaka so badly. Angels/Twins stand no chance. Angels are gonna win the AL West or at least the 2nd wild card IMO.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Angels are gonna win the AL West or at least the 2nd wild card IMO. You sure about that? Astros have a much easier schedule. Angels have FOUR vs the Rangers.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Rockies now have 2 players with 40 HR this season. Hopefully Bautista hits 1 more to join them! Problem is he might get a couple rest days if they can clinch.

Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 If Sox sweep Yankees... they might not even get WildCard And Dream is still alive! Hopefully Astros win!
baubau Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 It it amazing how much of a dominant season Kershaw is having, the best of his career in terms of WAR, and yet he isn't in the running in terms of hype for the Cy. 9 IP, 13 SO, 1 H, 1BB. 294 SO for the year now. He may hit 300. Amazing.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Who says he's not in the running in the terms of hype for the Cy? Most articles I read these has it between Kershaw, Greinke and Arrieta

Amazing. its been 13 years since a player has hit the 300SO plateau and that season in 2002, both Johnson and Schilling of the Diamondbacks eclipsed it....Johnson with 334 and Schilling with 316
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Damn Astros couldn't win. f*** off Angels.

Four game series between Angels/Rangers in Arlington. That's gonna be a treat to watch. Still hope the Astros make it in.

He struck out nine. lol

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Went to Kershaw's fangraphs page and this hilarious nugget pops up lol Why are you laughing? That's a sub par start for Kershaw. He's best pitcher in baseball four years running. Expectations are higher.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 and yet Chris Sale still has a higher K/9 than even Kershaw and might not win it.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Why are you laughing? That's a sub par start for Kershaw. He's best pitcher in baseball four years running. Expectations are higher. You mean he is the best pitcher in minor league baseball where he gets one automatic out for every 8 he faces
