Beltran should make it. He only needs 9 more homeruns to reach 400. Only 4 guys ever have gotten 400HR/300SB, Bonds, A-Rod, Willy Mays, and Andre Dawson.

If Dawson's good enough for the hall...

Do you have to be so negative? Toronto is 4-2 vs. the Rays since that 1-6 start vs. them. And of course, we've owned the O's this season. 5-5 at least, possibly as good as 7-3. Tulo's expected back in the O's or Rays series, BTW.

I was answering for Trouba. His actual answer is probably 1-9.

Hope Beltran does. Excellent player. I grew up loving the Hawk. Too bad his knees gave him so much trouble. He was a free swinger though.

Exactly

He won't even have to bat!

lol - Kershaw is quite a baby there. Dodgers have all but won the division at this point, better to save some bullets for the postseason anyway and being down 3-0 in the 5th is a legitimate time to pull him in that circumstance.

Were there runners on base??

Mlb.com: Marlins ace Jose Fernandez needs a victory Friday night against the Braves to set a Major League record for most home wins without a loss to begin a career. To start his young tenure with the Marlins, Fernandez is 16-0 with a 1.11 ERA in 25 starts in Miami.

N.B.: HOME wins

Great player but he isn't making the HOF imo.

His post-season results will get him a lot of votes on top of everything else.

Pete Rose met with MLB today about being reinstated

Manfred told him they would make a decision by the end of the year
