Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Gose thinks he's a team leader or sumthing lol Good by Gose , Iglesias is s***
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Not to pile on Reyes, but Iglesias's effort level on that grounder was very similar to Reyes's on many grounders.

Probably why he got traded...you don't trade guys just b/c of errors. He just seemed like he didn't give a s*** on D and focused only on hitting.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Is the perception that this type of sporadic lack of effort from time to time occur more with Latin players? Maybe the perception of some people cuz there is definitely a correlation, but I think the reason behind it lies more with the players connection with his teammates. Saw a lot of frustrating plays from Rasmus as well when he was at the plate. Looked like he just didn't care at times.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 What a poorly run org. the Marlins are.. Jose Fernandez is hurt AGAIN:

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Astros lose. Jays only 1 game back of the Astros.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Texas just intentionally walked two batters (Cruz and Cano) to load the bases in the bottom of the 10th. All to face Jesus Montero. What. EDIT: And they K Montero looking. Really wanted to see a walk-off passed ball or HBP. EDIT EDIT: And the Rangers start piling on immediately after in the top of the 11th. Up four runs now. Ugh. Edited August 9, 2015 by intentional wok

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Curt Casali got hit with a backswing off of Daniel Murphy. If it's a concussion, we could see JP Arencibia back in the big leagues (puke!)

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Samardzija getting shelled for 2nd straight outing. Wants to play so bad for the jays he's destroying his future value by playing like s***. Shark you clever bastard
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Samardzija has been pretty bad this year. Didn't see that coming.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Lol, Schoop with an hilariously bad slide at the plate. Turned an easy run into an out.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What's better for the jays, if the Baltimore or LA wins?
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What's better for the jays, if the Baltimore or LA wins? Baltimore. The Angels have a much better team, and their odds of making the playoffs are much higher. While anything can happen, the O's look like a sub-500 team going forward. Still laughed at the Schoop play though. What a good challenge by the Angels, and what a terrible job by the O's.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What's better for the jays, if the Baltimore or LA wins? Probably Baltimore, but it helps us either way.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Probably Baltimore, but it helps us either way. I want LAA to win. We need some more distance in the WC.
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What's better for the jays, if the Baltimore or LA wins? I want the Astros to lock up that division so I'm hoping the Angels lose every game possible. I'd love for us to take this division from the Yankees and take on the Stros. I'm sure the Angels & Yankees in the WC matchup would be a slugfest with the winner facing the Royals. On a side note Danny Valencia has single handedly beaten Houston the last 2 games for the A's
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Anyone else watch a lot of Angels games? Johny Giavotella is a terrible, terrible baseball player. Guy gives away out after out at 2B. And he can't even hit either.
