I thought Lowen worked so hard to become a hitter back in 2010

He did, then realized he sucked and wasn't going to make it. Now he's going to pitch until his arm falls off.

I thought he was gonna be able to do it, was a big fan of his when he was a Jay.

THe surprising thing to me was that I always thought he had a couple really good years in Baltimore as a pitcher. I was wrong.

Watching the A's vs Stros and the announcers giving us props. "Want to stay out of the Blue Jays way" / "Pitcher does not want to go to that park" / "Jays vs Yanks will go down to the wire" / "Fun series to watch this weekend". Good stuff.

Easily.

I think of they were to hold voting right now that someone more mainstream like Bryant, Syndergaard or Pederson would win, with the first two having the biggest chance IMO. I haven't heard a lot of buzz surrounding Duffy though I could be mistaken.

Oh yeah, I don't think Duffy has a chance in hell of beating Bryant or Syndergaard for the RoTY, but I personally think he's the most deserving.

I agree.

All he said was this...

“I love this place already,” he said with a laugh. “Not only is it bigger, but it looks like a real baseball stadium with all that iron and the ivy.”

Really? That's ripping RC? He didn't even mention RC...only talked about Comerica. RC is a dump and everyone knows it. Nothing he was wasn't true, accurate, or deserved.

What?

"it looks like a real baseball stadium" = RC suxx

No, he obviously bashed the RC and the Blue Jays. Where's your inferiority complex at?

Rogers Centre sucks but when the roof is open and place is sold out its pretty cool and we forget about how crappy it is. They have talked about renovations but once the grass in you won't hear anymore complaints about it. I just hope we get a real Baseball Stadium sometime in my lifetime.

When the Skydome was built the entire league was in envy, things change I guess.

That's because in the mid 90s half the league abandoned turf for grass and Skydome wasn't designed to be a real ball park. Kind of like going to Wonderland when your 7 and your the only one who isn't tall enough to ride the coasters with the cool kids and told you have to wait until you're older.

I'm not saying I wouldn't mind a new park, but that isn't happening anytime soon. Plus, again, the entire league was in envy of the Skydome, did I mention that. :P

Heyman needs to have a bit more respect for himself. It takes 3 seconds to verify the spelling of name and not look like a complete hack.

Yeah doubt we get another ballpark unless Toronto wins the Olympic bid, which is probably the only legitimate excuse to build a new park. Rogers Centre is here to stay especially with all the money the Blue Jays put into it unfortunately. When the roof is open and the place is packed, its a good atmosphere. Though when they close the roof, I feel like I'm watching a game in Tampa Bay - its just awful. I try to avoid as many games when the roof is closed.

There really is no room for a ballpark in downtown proper.

what I'd like to see is we tear down the entire outfield but I guess at that cost it would be better to make a new stadium. And I bet a ton of balls will fly out.
