This is such an untrue statement.

To be fair HERPDERP isn't wrong. A rich man's Colabello is someone that can play better defense and doesn't have luck. That sounds like Upton to me. It also sounds like every good OF and Zobrist/Holt as well so he really isn't reaching for a specific target with that statement.

This is what I fear will happen if AA is fired.

To a degree hasn't it already happened?

- Traded for player with large contract: Kemp | Reyes

- Traded away a controllable top end catcher: Grandal | Gomes

- Traded away top prospects: Turner | Synder + TDA + Hetch + Handsome Jake etc.

- Has provided no value to the team in terms of performance while crippling their cap heading forward: Check

All over one offseason too. Its distant memory and AA has made better trades given their history, but ...

*Turner + Ross + Wisler

I also forgot to add Jace Peterson (currently 1.2 WAR 2B for Atlanta) + Fried + Dustin Peterson and Smith.

Sure, some of these names you may never see again and Jace may fall into obscurity but still a lot of talent given up for a FA in Upton.

Looks like Cingrani is moving back into the rotation when he's activated.

I'm always intrigued by him. He has really good stuff, it plays better in the 'pen but his numbers are better as a starter if IIRC.

Nats-Dodgers got delayed for an hour due to lights going out. They played another inning and then got suspended when the lights went out again.

Tigers bullpen makes me want to gag... and you wonder why this team is struggling to contend (after all, they have a similar record to the Jays.. but worse SP and bullpen.) And the offense has made Tillman look like an ace...

Miller looking strong in return.

Yesterday O's beat Price and today NYY win a close one. This division is so tight.
