jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Nah Betances is big and strong. I would be more worried about him losing the strike zone. 3.9 BB/9IP and a low BABIP of .204. Regression is coming.. he's not maintaining his sub 1 ERA forever.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 10,779 tonight for the Rays/Angels game. Not even Paula Abdul can bring fans in. What's it gonna take to bring fans in??
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Preston Guilmet sighting! 1IP, 2H, 2K.
S33n Verified Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Why do we care if the Rays bp is burnt out by the All-Star break? Seems like nothing but good news to me.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Why do we care if the Rays bp is burnt out by the All-Star break? Seems like nothing but good news to me. It means the Jays have a better chance at a division title or wild card, especially now that we're above .500.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 We are Rays fans. And we also like the Dogers. Blue Jays 3rd but tied with Cardinals. <----- Mets fan here.

LTR Verified Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Wade Miley going off on Farrell in-between innings for being pulled out of the game. Hahaha
LTR Verified Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Some of us are Indians fans. As well you should be. Sexiest SP in baseball, hands down (yup, even Marcum is sexy).

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Apparently, the Rays can't afford good pitch framing catchers financially and on the 25-man--Bobby Wilson DFAd because Cash keeps blowing out his bullpen. Elmore the emergency C tonight. Belatti to DL, Guilmet to AAA, CJ Ref. up, Matt Andriese up, Enny Romero up.. and the White Sox coming in. Bet the Jays will be ahead of the Rays in the standings soon. Edited June 12, 2015 by jaysfan2014

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 CY Young Shane Greene to the minors Even though they aren't winning the trade either, the Yankees must've known something about Greene.. so far, the D-Backs are the only winner so far, with Robbie Ray pitching well for Arizona.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 http://i.imgur.com/xLJqyrh.jpg Wow, 5 aces! They must mean 5 dueces! The Red Sox definition of aces must be 4 pitchers with ERAs north of 5, Buchholz being very inconsistent and looking like a mid-rotation starter at best, and their best pitcher being just recently called up in Ed-Rod.. but will his success last? These "5 aces", along with the Castillo disaster and the HanRam/Sandoval signings, are going to cost Farrell and Cherington their jobs by the All-Star break. If they get swept vs. Toronto this weekend, I expect some firings, as the Sox would be 10 games below .500.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 CY Young Shane Greene to the minors Jesus christ.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 It gets worse. Google "Red Sox 5 aces" and you'll find this is not a solitary opinion. Boston media is the worst.
