LTR Verified Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I think he's just suggesting he's playing way over his head right now. 23% K 3% BB would suggest he's correct and his slash numbers will drop as the season progresses. Ahh... I read it just as 'he's not that good', not 'he's not THAT good' (as good as he's been)... if that makes any sense.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Who the hell says Guerrero is not good??? You missed the whole Guerrero vs Bumgarner ordeal? http://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2015/4/29/8514889/madison-bumgarner-alex-guerrero
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 So Yankees get Tanaka back after DFA'd Carpenter. Maybe they are going to separate from the pack.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 So Yankees get Tanaka back after DFA'd Carpenter. Maybe they are going to separate from the pack. I imagine he wont' last long
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 So Yankees get Tanaka back after DFA'd Carpenter. Maybe they are going to separate from the pack. Let's wait until they get to LA when they play a better team. Seattle is garbage.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 As for Carpenter's DFA.. he won't be on waivers long. Someone will claim him.. I can imagine Oakland is looking to claim him to help their beleaguered bullpen.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 2 years ago he had a 10 K/9. Still will get a chance.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Yanks sweep the Mariners.. damn. Lloyd McClendon's seat is getting really hot right now.. don't be surprised if he's fired next. But, it should be noted that in recent times, we're also 4.5 back of a crashing Tigers team and the Angels as well. I mean, Detroit is a mess right now without V-Mart. They've lost 8 of their last 10 games, Kinsler can't hit a beach ball right now, and surprisingly Gose is still hitting .300 with a high K rate.. and the rotation is terrible outside of Price.
bendera3 Verified Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Mark Trumbo is going to the Mariners. Jack Z is continuing to collect players who can't really play the field.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 4m4 minutes ago Sources: Deal is Trumbo, Nuno from #DBacks to #Mariners for Castillo, Leone and two prospects.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Anyone know which prospects? seems like a good trade but lol M's
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Anyone know which prospects? seems like a good trade but lol M's How many corner outfielders do the mariners have now 10? Am I only slightly exaggerating?
bendera3 Verified Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 How many corner outfielders do the mariners have now 10? Am I only slightly exaggerating? We put infielders in the outfield, the M's put outfielders in the infield. Pretty soon all their position players will be outfielders.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Anyone know which prospects? seems like a good trade but lol M's Gabby Guerrero and Jack Reinheimer
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 WTF????? Is Seattle that desperate??? On the other hand, it's a good move for the D-Backs. They open up the OF for Tomas and 3B for Lamb, and get a catcher and relief help.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 We put infielders in the outfield, the M's put outfielders in the infield. Pretty soon all their position players will be outfielders. They put infielders in the outfield too.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 And seriously lol @ not being able to trade Navarro to the DBacks this whole time. AA is one hell of a dumb f***.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 They put infielders in the outfield too. SUch as Ackley, Miller, and now Trumbo when he joins the Mariners. Still a confusing trade.. the Mariners aren't close to contention. Guess both the coach (McClendon) and the GM (Jack Z) are fearing for their jobs..
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Jack Z and Davey Stewart, I'd love to sit on those brilliant baseball minds negotiating
bendera3 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Jack Z and Davey Stewart, I'd love to sit on those brilliant baseball minds negotiating After they are done they go to Denny's and get Grand Slams.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Everyone is dissecting the Trumbo part but I think Nuno is a really good acquisition for the Mariners. He'll do quite well for them.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Jose Canseco @JoseCanseco 11m11 minutes ago I can fix the game @FIFA. Call me. #Cansoccer Jose Canseco @JoseCanseco 10m10 minutes ago Ties wtf? BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Philly somehow tied the game. Wow.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 The same dude (Franco) who got the first hit off Leake was the same one who hit the 3-run shot to tie it. Oh and it was only off Chapman.
SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 And seriously lol @ not being able to trade Navarro to the DBacks this whole time. AA is one hell of a dumb f***. I dunno. He wanted to I am sure. But he promised Navarro a starting job in a trade. Maybe AZ couldn't promise that. Anyway, this f*** of a season will end and it becomes moot. Romero, Navarro, Izturis, MB and Dickey off the payroll.
