Henderson Alvarez is having a MRI on his right elbow, according to sources. Would be major blow to #marlins if damage is found.

He's been on the watch list for a while. Mechanics aren't great + small stature + past elbow stiffness/soreness.

He must work out.

Really? He's always looked smooth.

Hope Alvarez is ok.

I always thought he would end up having TJS after that scare in 2012 when Hutchison and Drabek went down injured.

Hope it's just another scare.

D'Backs finally score one with the bases loaded lol 7-1 bottom of the 9th

Prince Fielder needed to grab a breather after walking to 2B on a wild pitch LOOOOOOOL. Regardless he's on 2nd as the tying run against Houston bottom of the 14th

Can anyone who watched some of the Reds game tell me how Iglesias looked today?

First three innings he was electric. Fastball moving all over the place at 94-95, multiple swings and misses on his change and breaking balls. Into the 4th and 5th he seemed to lose effectiveness. Also really fun to watch with multiple arm angles.

Is a Chris Hatcher alert really necessary?

It is if you're worried about Greinke picking up the win. Thankfully they took Hatcher out before the tying run came to the plate.

Chris Hatcher alert.

What a horrible day for the Howies. Just gonna have to shake it off and move onto tomorrow.

I want to cry!
