SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Let begin the RMaJEdDon bandwagon!! I think that's a country in eastern Europe. Or a former Iranian president.
Caper Verified Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Who else wishes Bautista's name was actually Pautista?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Reyes, Martin, Bautista, Edwin, Donaldson = RMaJEdDon (Armageddon) Armageddon it, I am a gettin it!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Who hits 7 Bautista? Betances is going to rape the middle of the order. Betances will rape anyone as long as he commands his pitches.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 83 same as our win total. When I got to the boards and saw that Jonn was the last to post in this thread, I played a little game in my head to predict how many HRs Jonn would predict the trio would hit. It's much more gratifying as you don't have to wait an entire season for the results. I predicted 79. Much to my surprise, you were more optimistic than I thought you would be.
Gorlak Verified Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Who hits 7 Bautista? Betances is going to rape the middle of the order. I think it means he's going to Nancy Kerrigan Donaldson after he hits his 7th.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Unless injuries take place. I think they all good for atleast 25. I will go with Donaldson leading the team. Bautista and Edwin combined for 69 last year and EE only played 128 and the first 10 or 15 after coming back from injury were a long ways from normal production. You're calling for a lot of regression for EE and bats if you think the trio will hit 83 with them actually being healthy and Donaldson leading the way.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I'll say 90 just to account for injury, gonna be a fun year!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Josh, Edwin, Jose and Russell is an anagram for Jewelers Judo Shin Loss or my favourite Injured Jowls Hoes Less (or Injured Jowls He Less So). Third top option is Juniors Jewels Sloshed.

SAAviour Verified Member Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 How bout the '61 Yankees with 143 home runs from 3 players! Let's go for 144...seems unimaginable.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Is this an old people joke that I'm not supposed to understand? That's right I learned from Easy A that no young people deal in Anagrams. It's an odd skill to take any group of words and use all the letters to form new words. Amazingly enough it's never got me laid in bars.

The Jays best (I'm guessing) would be the better one to chase. 2000 the three top went 114 (Batista 41, Delgado 41, Fullmer 32). They had 7 guys hit 20 that year (top 7 players pull out a 24.2 fWAR, yet the team gives 1700+ PA's to below replacement level players, good to know it's a tradition).
43211234 Verified Member Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 100 even. Probably will hit less than that though.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 25. All 3 encounter horrific season ending injuries.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I want one to hit over 40 and the three combine for over 100, but 95 or so is a better bet
Chappy Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I want one to hit over 40 and the three combine for over 100, but 95 or so is a better bet Realistically if all stay reasonably healthy I see them around the 90 mark which is fantastic.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Ok I really wanted to say 102 but I want more soo 118 "f***ING" home runs for me! Please, I said please! Plus three or more are gonna hit 20 or more Dingers! Gonna be a Fun time on the old bluejays HR contest leaders board!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 As of today after game 1 Donaldson 38 Bautista 35 Encarnacion 32 105 so far with 21 games to go

canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Great thread bump. I'm late to the party but I am honest I was thinking 45/38 for Joey and Edwin and a solid 30 for Donaldson for a total of 113. Great year
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Never would have though Donaldson would hit 40 Projection systems probably told us he would. Moving away from playing 90 games between O.co and Safeco and playing 100 in Rogers Centre, Fenway and Yankee Stadium would be expected to provide the boost.
