I'm pretty sure I could try it a few times and not get hooked. I don't think I have a predilection to addiction and from what I understand it's hardly the worst thing you could try from that perspective but ultimately meh. I'm way too old to be trying new drugs.

 

I did it 3 times in highschool. It's really f***ing dumb but not physically addicting. It's just really easy to OD because you go from such a high to such a low in 30-45 mins so it's hard to stop doing more if you have it. But like the next day you don't crave it or go through withdrawals or anything.

 

After doing it the 3rd time and convulsing in my bed at like 6am after doing a bunch i decided that was enough for me. If anyone is curious about doing it...don't. You will like it a lot and it's just really dumb and expensive.

Well I don't know about that. I think it's pretty hard to be a functioning adult in society and not do drugs. I drink, I take aspirine, I have coffee. I'm not anti drugs by any stretch but I don't want to develop any new habits.

No disrespect intended, but I find it difficult to comprehend any educated individual being unequivocally opposed to the possibilities that drug experimentation provides. You don't strike me as the type of person to completely disregard any realm of knowledge, the experiences that only perception altering drugs can provide are in and of themselves additional information.

I think there's a difference between regulated drugs and street drugs though. I knew a guy who died from taking a pill of ecstasy. You really don't know what you're consuming when you buy coke/pills or whatever street drug.

Just my personal opinion, but factoring in potential for addiction and potential for lethal overdose, marijuana is just about the safest drug their is. Far, far safer than alcohol, both acutely and chronically.

It's not that these signings by themselves are bad, at least not looking at them in a bubble....but looking at the team as a whole in what it needs...these inspire little confidence, this team is still paper thing in numerous areas, these signings won't help much at all. Going to be a disappointing season, this team is close if rogers would have given us a little more room AA needed to fill another hole or 2.

Agreed on all counts, but I'm not drinking tonight (for the simple fact that the beer store is ALL THE WAY OVER THERE, GOD WHY DON'T THE JUST DELIVER ALREADY!?) but tomorrow is band practice. Band practice is a very good place to drink!
