I just don't think I can commit 5-6 hours for the draft tbh. Especially since I wake up at 5:30 on Monday mornings. If Friday/Saturday nights were an option then I definitely could, but there isn't any options for that. I just don't want to be in a position where I have to bail on the draft towards the end.

Alright, well....

 

The response has been a little underwhelming.

 

We had 20 guys on the list.

Of those 20, we have 15 signed up, although several of those aren't of the original list.

We have very few regular posters, and a lot of newbies.

 

Of those 15, we have 7 that have responded to the poll with the date.

 

So, I'm hesitant to start the league, and ask for money, but here is what we are going to do.

 

1) We are going to hold the draft on Sunday, March 8th at 7:00 PM

2) Everyone will send me $20 before the draft starts through PayPal at jariax@hotmail.com

 

The number of roster spots will be as follows:

20 players: 20 roster spots. (Payout $20 3rd place regular season $50 2nd place regular season, $20 3rd place post-season, $50 WS finalist, $130 regular season champ, $130 post-season champ)

18 players: 21 roster spots. (Added bench spot) (Payout $50 2nd place regular season, $50 WS finalist, $130 regular season champ, $130 post-season champ)

16 players: 22 roster spots. (2 Added bench spots) (Payout $40 2nd place regular season, $40 WS finalist, $120 regular season champ, $120 post-season champ)

14 players: 23 roster spots. (Added corner infielder) (Payout: $ (Payout $40 2nd place regular season, $40 WS finalist, $100 regular season champ, $100 post-season champ)

12 players: 25 roster spots. (Added middle infielder and outfielder). (Payout $20 2nd place regular season, $20 WS finalist, $100 regular season champ, $100 post-season champ)

 

Categories will be:

 

Hitting: AVG, OBP, SLG, Runs, RBI, HR, Net Stolen Bases.

Pitching: ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K, Quality Starts, SV, HLD

 

Post here that you are in for sure. If we have 12 or more people post before end of February, this is a go.

Once we go over 12 people, I will request you to send me the money.

 

If we don't have 12 people agree to the terms by March 1st, we're not going to run the league.

Looks like it's going to be Sunday March 8th 7pm. I think maybe moving it up an hour or so might work better for people. I'm easy with whatever though since i have a co manager and Sundays are ideal for me.
